Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a competitive solicitation for procurement of the�efforts�required for Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) Combat System (CS) Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) engineering support for the introduction, modernization, maintenance and upgrade of New Construction and In-Service Aircraft Carriers and Amphibious Class ships. The primary responsibilities of the Contractor will include end-to-end engineering support for the integration and testing of combat system alterations, as well as supporting the installation of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) equipment for New Construction and In-Service Aircraft Carriers and Amphibious Class ships. End-to-end CS SI&T support includes test plan development, test procedure development, test execution, ship integration documentation, and oversight of integration efforts. The Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that CS alterations are successfully installed, tested and implemented on the ship. The Contractor is responsible for conducting CS SI&T work in alignment with the ship schedule and operational requirements. Additionally, the Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that the upgrades and capability added to the in-service ships remain in alignment with the respective ship class requirements documentation and future combat system plans. The anticipated solicitation will include cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price and cost-only contract line items for travel and incidental material for the efforts to satisfy FY2024-FY2030 requirements.� Disclaimer: This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers�or award contracts.
