Description
Award Notice resulting from solicitation 36C25722B0027; Network Contracting Office, NCO17, has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract, 36C25723C0011, to M2 Federal Inc., to Replace Elevators P-14, P-15, P-11, and S-12, to Project No. 671-20-128, Audie L. Murphy VAMC, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd, San Antonio, Texas. The project consists of replacement elevators into 3 sections of the Audie Murphy Medical Center. The elevator will be completely replaced with new modernize components. Major components include new oil interceptor, HVAC system, and elevator controls. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment, supervision and construction services necessary to replace elevator P14, P15, P11 & S12. All necessary testing and commissioning is required. All work shall be performed during normal hours of operation for the project are 8:00AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday except for Federal Holidays. The Contractor will be required to work on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, or outside the project site s normal working hours for item impacting patient care (i.e., power outages and/or demo placing patients in harm s way, crane). For example, some demolition and major utility disruptions will require non-normal hour work. The contractor will need to submit a written request for approval to the VA-COR at least three (2) working days prior to the proposed start of such work. All work shall be performed in accordance with the SOW, Specifications, and Drawings issues with the solicitation. Project duration shall be 540 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). **NOTE: For subcontracting opportunities, please contact the General Contract: M2 Federal, Inc., 705 W.
