36C26123R0014 Repair Steam Tunnels Page 1 of 1 This is a sources sought notice for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the VA. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify qualified businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), small-disadvantaged businesses (SDB), Women-owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, 8(a) Small Business, Small Business concerns and other than Small Business that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. The NAICS code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the corresponding size standard is $39.5 Million. Your responses to the sources sought will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The VA Palo Alto Healthcare System has a requirement for the repair of the steam tunnels at the Menlo Park Campus, 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025 in accordance with the attached statement of work. Interested firms shall send their information utilizing the sources sought response form and return by E-mail to charee.harris@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, November 30, 2022. The following information is requested in response to this notice: (1) Type of socio-economic category (e.g., SDVOSB, Small Business, etc.), if firm is a SDVOSB or VOSB, evidence of verification in VetBiz as a SDVOSB or VOSB (SDVOSB and VOSB firms must be verified by the Center for Veteran Enterprises (CVE) or other than Small Business. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested firms fitting one of more socio-economic categories. If adequate interest is not received, this action will not be set aside for SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a) small business, small business firms or other than Small Business.
