Description

Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Service Contract (Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI) This is a market survey for informational and planning purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes an official Request for Information (RFI) as defined by FAR 15.201(e). This is a Sources Sought Notice (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability and availability of sources with Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Maintenance Service experience. Naval Station Newport in Newport, RI is seeking qualified companies to perform maintenance, repair and alterations for Fire Alarm and Sprinkler for recurring and nonrecurring services on the installation. The scope of work includes inspecting, testing, maintaining and repair of fire alarm panels, fire alarm sprinklers and clean agent fire suppression systems. The work will be accomplished under a combined Recurring/Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Non-Recurring/Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option periods. Estimated contract start date is 01 June 2023.� Sources sought include small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 561621 -- Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths). The Small Business Size Standard is $22.0 million.
