Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order (PO) under authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Government intends to award to Canon U.S.A., INC located at 1 Canon Park, Melville, NY 11747, for the purposes of obtaining �a 12 month lease of copiers to support USCG Sector Baltimore and supporting units at 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Building 70, Baltimore, MD 21226 from 01DEC2022-30NOV2023. The USCG intends to award this requirement as a sole source to Canon as Canon currently has copiers onsite and obtaining nine (9) copiers by 15NOV2022 will be problematical. The purchase order�s period of performance is 01DEC2022 � 30NOV2023. This is a simplified acquisition. This notice serves as both a synopsis of the requirement and public notice of the USCG�s intent to sole source. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. As a result of this notice, a separate award notice or further public notices shall not be made. This notice constitutes all of the USCG�s public notice requirements. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 423420.
