- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, hereby provides notice of its intent to sole-source award to Omnicell Inc. at 590 E. Middlefield Rd. Mountain View, CA 94043, firm-fixed-price contract, for a one-year period. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-3. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be prepared. The period of performance shall be 12/01/2022 11/30/2023. The contract will provide services for Omnicell equipment Automated Dispensing Cabinets at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center located at 69 Dogwood Ave, Mountain Home TN 37684. NAICS code: 811412 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $16.5 Million). These support service to include but not limited to: Preventive Maintenance for Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets. Corrective (Emergency) Maintenance for Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets. Modifications and Updates for Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets. 24/7 Telephone Support for Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets. Omnicell, Inc has proprietary authorization to perform maintenance on Automated Dispensing Cabinets. As a result, any contractor other than Omnicell, Inc that would be allowed to work on, maintain, and/or tamper with the current system in any capacity would void the warranty of the Automated Dispensing Cabinets. Voidability of said warranty cannot be permitted. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes. However, all responsible sources may submit an offer and technical capabilities/narrative that proves by clear and convincing evidence that the current warranty provided by Omnicell, Inc, for the Automated Dispensing Cabinets, will not be voided by having a contractor other than Omnicell, Inc conduct the above referenced maintenance. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than November 11th, 2022, at 8:00AM, Central Time (CT). A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Automated Dispensing Cabinets in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned.
