- This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Technical Manufacturing Corporation. Address: 15 Centennial DR, Peabody, Massachusetts, 01960-7901, United States. The requirement is for the purchase of magnetic field cancellation system, with on-site system initialization, optimization, and certification. The system provides continuous field cancellation and monitoring and dynamic response at least on the order of 100 �s, and feedforward compensation of line frequency and harmonics with as much frequency bandwidth as possible (up to 10 kHz ). Other characteristics: 26-Special-01 Mag-NetX Floor Mount Cage 6.5ftX6.5ftX6.5ft, 0.7G Sensor oMag-NetX controller with sensors oAnalog feedback with digital gain control oContinuous feedback AC and DC field cancellation to 1kHz oContinuous field monitoring oDigital feed-forward optional for additional inputs oPC-based monitoring and control software with graphical interface included oDC -3kHz compact fluxgate magnetometer o3-axis field cancellation oIncludes Cable and Connector Set, Coil Frame Cage Assy, 2mx2mx2m The Government intends to negotiate solely with Technical Manufacturing Corporation under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334519 and the business size standard is 550 employees. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. Questions by phone or fax will not be considered. All responses received by this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
