- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC), intends to acquire sources of manufacture and/or supply for the UPDATED VERSION of the Computer Interface Module (CIM), NSN#7025-01-618-6736, P/N 96- 23754, CAGE Code 30554 Requirements Description: This is to locate sources of supply for the UPDATED VERSION Computer Interface Module (CIM), NSN#7025-01-618-6736, P/N 96- 23754, CAGE Code 30554 The current CIM version/configuration has multiple obsolete parts and is no longer available from the OEM or supplier. The CIM supports the following Power Generator (End Product) platforms MEP-805, 30kW-50/60Hz, NSN: 6115-01-274-7389, MEP-815, 30kW 400Hz, NSN: 6115-01-274-7394, MEP-806, 60kW 50/60Hz, NSN: 6115-01-274-7390, and MEP-816, 60kW 400Hz NSN: 6115-01- 274-7395. The Computer Interface Module (CIM) is a computer/display combination packaged to withstand harsh environments. Together with a data acquisition subsystem the CIM provides complete monitoring and control capabilities in a low-profile, low-cost package. Several CIM units can be connected over a LAN to provide multiple operator work stations. The CIM combines all the functions of the traditional analog gauges, and provides one touch screen controlled area, in which to monitor all the functions of the generator set/sets it is running. The plug and play capabilities allow for the one CIM to be exchanged for another with minimal downtime, and quick integration. The crossover use for the 30kW and 60 kW generators cuts down on user learning time, and allows for fast replacement in field. See current CIM by L3 Harris The CIM configurations are described and controlled in Government owned level III technical data Packages which will be made available to potential bidders. Suppliers or resellers capable of supplying the UPDATED CIM should be able to update the current Bill of Materials (BOM) with available parts such as: Power Supply Board, LCD, other Boards as applicable, facilitate the manufacture, test, and delivery to the UPDATED CIM version / configuration should respond in writing with their capabilities. The response should include product lead time, rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimate on a per unit basis, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply, and delivery of the units if applicable. The response should include supply or delivery, vendor name, CAGE, address, company representative, Tel/fax#, and applicable email address. The written response should go to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: FCDD-ISP-GE, building 6001, Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), MD 21005 or by email to: Hassan.A.Azzam.civ@army.mil & rabiul.i.bari.civ@army.mil The UPDATED CIM should be back up compatible with all previous versions/configuration and the same Form, Function, and Fit specifications as plug and play with NO additional electric or physical changes. The current version/configuration have multiple obsolete parts and no longer available by the OEM or vendors. The Government estimate requirement from the UPDATED CIM version is as follow: FY23: 107 FY24: 107 FY25: 107 FY26: 107 FY27: 93 FY28: 73 The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for the parts. The TDP is not available for release. The TDP includes level (3) Production information. The following additional NAICS apply: [334515, 335313] Generator control and metering panels, Panels, generator control and metering, manufacturing, Digital panel meters, electricity measuring, manufacturing. Current Computer Interface Module (CIM), NSN#7025-01-618-6736, P/N 96- 23754, Requested Response Information: We request sources that can manufacture or supply the listed parts to submit information to show as appropriate: their capability to manufacture or supply the same. At a minimum the support information you submit should include, but is not limited to, the following types of documentation: Questionnaire, information on previous Government and commercial contracts and production lead times (number of units / 3 months that would be available, rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimate on a per unit basis, or any other information that could affect a potential acquisition, supply and/or delivery of the units. In your response, please include your company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contract with email address and telephone number. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts.
