- MARKET SURVEY FOR OUTDOOR UNINTERUPTABLE POWER SUPPLIES (UPS) NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EITHER MAILED, FAXED OR EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. This Market Survey is for information and comments from industry that will aid in the formation of an acquisition strategy for the purchase of a quantity of 28 (each) UPS supplies with factory installed pole-mounting brackets in support of surveillance systems used by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The responses to this market survey will be used for informational and market research purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor�s expense. The FAA is interested in pursuing a stand-alone one-time purchase of the following items: P/N: OUTDOOR-XUPS-UPS-1500-3592 DESC: Wall-Mounted Outdoor UPS System QTY: 28 Each MFG: TSI Power Corporation P/N: PM3 DESC: Factory-Installed Pole-Mounted Bracket QTY: 28 Each MFG: TSI Power Corporation The nature of competition for this requirement has not yet been determined. Responses received from this announcement will assist the FAA in demining if a competitive environment exists for these items. The FAA may conduct a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. If no reasonable expectation of competition results from this announcment, the FAA may pursue a single source procurement strategy.� Interested vendors are requested to include the following information along with their submission: - Statement of Capability: Interested vendors are requested to clearly state they are able to provide the items described and quantities specified herein. - Statement of Interest: �Interested vendors are requested to provide a statement of interest in submitting an offer if a screening information request or request for proposals is released. - Rough Order of Magnitude: A ballpark cost estimate of item unit prices for FAA budgetary planning purposes. � All responses to this market survey must be received by 5:00 p.m. Central Time (Oklahoma Time) on October 27th, 2022.
