Description

RFQ; 36C24723Q0052-Regulated Medical Waste & Sharps Removal Services Answers to the questions below: Volumes at each location of RMW(medical waste), Trace Chemo, NHRX, RCRA , animal carcasses and large body parts. Answer: The average is 5,000 pounds per month. The average pounds for the CBOC s is 300 pounds. Confirm that the treatment facility must be in the state of Alabama. Answer: The treatment facility does not have to be in the state of Alabama. Which  means are acceptable to ADEM for treatment of waste would be acceptable to VA. Both things are mentioned in the RFP. Answer: It has to be incineration for the VA. What is the current contract with pricing schedule included. Answer: The contract number is 36C24718C0102 and about $303,900.00. Can you confirm that Birmingham management training is not required? Answer: Management training are not required. Would you allow a monthly pickup versus the weekly pickups?  Answer: NO. We have been able to provide some savings to our customers by providing them with a larger bin that allows them to have monthly pickups instead of weekly pickups, is this something you would consider? Answer: NO
