- Description
- Questions & Answers- 36C26122Q0916 -Security Guard Services What is basis of the Award? This explains how the proposals will be evaluated for award. On section ""B.2 Price/Cost Schedule,"" under different item number it states ""Qty: 1"" or ""Qty: 2,"" is that refer to the amount of officer or shift? Refers to officers. On page 5 of the RFP, under ""Item Number 0004,"" in the ""Coverage"" section it states ""24-hour coverage"" but it does not state if it is included Holiday or not? Holidays are Included. When is the award announcement date? On or about the 11/20 /2022 In relation to the Contract listed above, I had a question regarding the quantity of Guards per Item Number. Line Item 003, do you want (2) guards for every 12-hour shift, or do you want (1) guard for every 12-hour shift? (I understand from the Solicitation 12-hours shifts are the maximum allotted time permitted to work in a 24-hour period). Two (2) Guards, 0630-1700, M-F excluding Federal Holidays at the Windward CBOC Being as this contract is located in Hawaii is there a specific reason that the training needs to be conducted in California? I'm referring to ""Handcuffing Techniques- Training to be given by a person licensed to provide training to security guards by California Bureau of Security and Investigations (4) hours. Each CSO shall be trained in the use of handcuffs and subject control while handcuffing (4) hours each year"". As this contract is in Hawaii, is a Hawaii State training a substitute? Disregard this portion, as it is removed from the performance work statement. We are very interested in responding to the solicitation 36C26122Q0916, but we have a question about the amount of information that we have to submit in 3 pages. Is that correct, because it has to include as a minimum all the rest of the requirements. The number of pages for the technical file is increased to eight (8) pages, an increase of five (5) pages.
