Description

This is a request for information regarding capacity and package size information for rice materials for delivery during the months of January 2023 through January 2024. This RFI is issued as described in FAR 12.2. This is not a solicitation, nor does it guarantee that a solicitation will be issued. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This is not a request for proposals, and it does not obligate the government in any manner. USDA�s Commodity Procurement Program (CPP) seeks information regarding capacity for delivery of a variety of rice materials announced at: USDA to Purchase $50 Million in Consumer-Ready Rice for Food Assistance Programs | Agricultural Marketing Service. Materials must be available in household size packaging. All materials must meet the standards described in the USDA Commodity Requirements document Rice Products (RP6) (Attachment 1). All information provided with regard to the commercial practices for these products should take into account USDA's 100 percent domestic origin requirement (see Attachment 2, Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurement). The proposed responses should identify capacities available after considering supply into existing USDA acquisition programs.� Acquisition history for USDA Purchase Programs can be found at: Purchase Programs: Solicitations & Awards | Agricultural Marketing Service (usda.gov) Response Requirements Responses to this RFI are limited to one excel document and two PDF pages and shall include the following: Name of organization submitting the response, UEI, and point of contact including phone number, email address, and the title of the person submitting the response. A list of the specific USDA WBSCM material codes (see page 2 of 2 for reference) and the number of truckloads that can be provided in the delivery periods listed.� Responses shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer at great.samuel@usda.gov no later than 1:00 PM Central Time on October 21, 2022. Any questions regarding this RFI must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the above e-mail address not later than Friday, October 14th. An amendment may be posted if necessary. Delivery Periods Sought: Two-week delivery period (1st through 15th and 16th through 31st) for each month January 2023 through January 2024.
