Description
This is a notice of intent to sole source a contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), only one source being available to meet the Government�s need.� The contract will be for a one (1) year base period and two (2) option years. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210, �Applications software, computer, packaged,� with a small busines size standard of 1,000 employees.� The FSC/PSC is 6525, �Imaging Equipment and Supplies: Medical, Dental, Veterinary.� The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for Riverain ClearRead CT imaging AI software to Riverain Technologies, 3130 South Tech Blvd., Miamisburg, OH 43242. �There are no other source of supply/service that will satisfy agency requirements. �The software will be used at the VA Central California Health Care System: VA Central California Health Care System Fresno VA Medical Center 2615 East Clinton Avenue Fresno, CA 93703-2223 Riverain ClearRead CT is the first and only FDA cleared device to support concurrent reading, allowing for faster diagnosis with proven superior automatic nodule detection performance for all types of lung nodules.� ClearRead CT provides unprecedented efficiency and accuracy for detection, management, and characterization of solid, part-solid and ground glass nodules.� ClearRead CT automatically tracks and characterizes lung nodules across prior and current chest CT exams.� ClearRead CT gives increased clarity of chest x-rays by suppressing bone on the digital image. The resulting bone suppressed image can be displayed within the existing patient file and viewed on any PACS viewer.� ClearRead CT is compatible with current Radiology programs necessary to run software The VA Central California Healthcare System, Fresno VAMC seeks to procure the following software: One (1) each ClearRead CT \F\ Vessel Suppress \F\ Detect- Provides unprecedented efficiency and accuracy for the detection, measurement and characterization of solid, part-solid and ground glass nodules. One (1) each ClearRead CT \F\ Compare - Automatically tracks and characterizes lung \F\ nodules across prior and current exams chest CT series. Any responsible source that feels it is capable in performing this requirement may submit a quote for the above listed items and describe and/or submit documentation to support your capabilities.� The response will be considered by the agency.� If you are not the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), you must submit an authorized distributor letter signed by the OEM.� If you are not the OEM and a small business, you must indicate in your response how you will comply with limitations on subcontracting and/or the non-manufacturer rule.� Responses should be submitted to Brian K. Fritz at Brian.Fritz@va.gov no later than October 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM PDT to be considered.� If no responses are received, the Government will continue with its sole source procurement, and a sole source Request for Quote will be published to Contract Opportunities in accordance with FAR 5.102.
