- This notice is a combined synopsis / solicitation for a request for quote (RFQ). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for the purchase of 60,000 gallons of #2 dyed off-road diesel fuel (NO BIO-DIESEL) to be delivered to the Dredge Goetz. This contract is to supply a mid- stream fueling for the continuation of dredging, for the Dredge Goetz and its supporting equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project will be 324110 Petroleum Refineries with a size standard of1,500 employees. The resulting contract shall be a Firm, Fixed-Price contract. The solicitation is a Total Small Business set-aside.� The solicitation is a request for quote. The following is the scope of work: Scope of Work������������������������������������������������� Purchase of 60,000 gallons of #2 off-road diesel fuel. Delivery will have to be coordinated with the on-site supervisor Jon Miller: 651-769-3801. Fuel delivery/ deliveries: Mid- Stream will be between October 12th and October 14th, 2022 @ Lock and Dam 26 (Mel Price). The entire delivery will be only transferred when the dredge fleet arrives on fueling location during the aforementioned dates. The fuel will be pumped onboard a floating barge capable of holding 70,000 gallons of fuel. The fuel hose connections are 3� cam-lock fitting. The USACE will have 3� adapter fitting if required. The fuel barge is owned and operated by the USACE and annually inspected by the United States Coast Guard. The USACE fuel barge will be manned and controlled by two Government employees during transfer. The transport barge company will be responsible for all transport barge activities and have the proper certifications to transfer fuel to a marine floating fuel barge. Delivery location Information: Fuel will be delivered to: Dredge Goetz Fleet via a mid-stream fueling at Lock and Dam 26 (Mel Price) Fuel delivery must be coordinated with on-site supervisor, Jon Miller: 651-769-3801.
