Description

The General Services Administration 2600 Paramount Place Room 180 Fairborn, Ohio 45324, has issued a sole source task order for Armor Kits against GSA�s multiple award schedule 47QSWA21D0003 � Foster Miller Inc.� Foster-Miller is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and the only approved source. There are no other armor kits certified by the aircraft manufacturer for installation which are compatible for use with either the C-130J aircraft. A request for quotation (47QFLA22Q0208) was issued on 19 August 2022 to Foster Miller Inc for the procurement of Armor Kits. The task order was awarded on 26 September 2022.� The resultant contract is a Firm Fixed Price contract for supplies. This program has been designated for acquisition streamlining utilizing FAR Part 8.4. Only one known source can provide the products required by the client agency. Additionally, only these products are approved by the client agency for the Aircraft.� Accompanying this synopsis is a Limited Sources Justification which has been signed by the contracting officer.
