Description

This synopsis is not a request for quotes/offers/proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via the Government Point of Entry (GPE), www.SAM.gov on or around October 14, 2022 for the procurement of Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC) services to assist Recovering Service Members (RSMs) throughout all phases of recovery in order to assure sustainable rehabilitation and smooth transition. RCC assists the RSMs in developing a personal recovery plan and act as the primary point of contact for assistance in achieving the RSM�s goals laid out in their recovery plan. RCCs are located at key geographically dispersed locations and are available to RSMs and their families. A complete Performance Work Statement will be provided at the time of solicitation. This is not a request for responses. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will solicit and award the resulting contract utilizing acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15.� The proposed acquisition will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. A Request for Information (RFI) was issued in which the results did not yield in a reasonable expectation of receiving responsive and qualified quotes from two or more firms in the same socio-economic category, therefore, it is anticipated that this will be a total small business set-aside. The Government intends to award a single award, on an all or none basis. Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database with current representation and certifications. Information on registering in SAM may be obtained by calling (866) 606-8220 or via the internet at http://www.sam.gov. When available, the solicitation documents for this requirement will be accessible via www.SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the specified GPE for the solicitation and any amendments. No CDs or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offerors inability to access the document posted at the referenced website.
