Description

The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD intends to award a sole source contract to Global Ground Support for a Deicer Truck Control Box. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY:� The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this acquisition is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement. FAR 13.501(a) justifies limiting the source�if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The attached sole source justification, outlines the Contracting Officers justification and reasoning to award a sole source award toGlobal Ground Support, LLC doing business as Global Ground Support, LLC. All responsible sources who believe they can meet the requirement 1 Deicer Electric Box Heater Control Part Number 831-00653 or equal items may submit a capability statement, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any cost.
