Description
9/21/2022: Amendment 0003 changes the submission date, ProjNet inquiry timeline and adds attachments based on ProjNet inquiries and responses. All other terms and conditions will remain the same.� 9/15/2022: Amendment 0002 adds the Geotechnical Report. All other terms and conditions will remain the same.� 9/6/2022: Amendment 0001 updates the bidder inquiry key, the site visit dates and adds the drawings. All other terms and conditions will remain the same.� The proposed procurement is Full and Open Competition (Unrestricted); NAICS 236220, ""Commercial and Institutional Building Construction"" with a size standardof $39.5M. Project Description: This will be a Design Bid Build project to construct a two story 32,000 SF, steel, concrete,�masonry and framed glass building to provide offices, �bull pen� (open) work areas, a green�screen room, sound editing booth, collaboration rooms, conference rooms, and a parking area. Requirements will include utilities and storm water management. Work will also include: �* The installation of an elevator, a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)�system and controls to meet current energy criteria �* Electrical system, LED lighting �* Piston elevator �* Life safety, fire alarm annunciator panels and a fire suppression system.�All life safety work will need to be coordinated with the local authorities. �* Class A finishes �* Storm water management �* Environmental permitting will be obtained prior to contract award, the contractor shall be�required to coordinate all environmental work such as erosion, sediment control and�storm water management with the local authorities. � * Paving and landscaping The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Construction duration is approximately 550 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Additional information in accordance with the statement of work is included in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document. This procurement is a firm-fixed price Design-Bid-Build (DB) construction contract utilizing the Lowest-Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process. An award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is determined to be the lowest price technically acceptable based on the evaualtion factors and criteria as listed in the RFP.�Proposals are�due on 03 October 2022. Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive a Government contract award. Vendors must also be registered in the representations & certifications applications (included in SAM). Vendors may register for SAM online at www.sam.gov or by calling 1-836-606-8220.
