Description W9126G23R0076 Notice of Intent Brand Name Items �9400 Block Barracks, Fort Hood Texas. Description This Notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to include brand specific requirements for the Unrestricted, Full-and-Open competition for Design and Construction of the Hammerhead Barracks at Fort Hood, Texas. The statutory authority for the inclusion of brand specific requirements is FAR 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fort Worth District intends to include brand specific requirements in its Unrestricted, Full-and-Open competition solicitation in support of the 9400 Block Barracks (Hammerhead Barracks) program. This project has a requirement for the Fort Hood Military Installation in Killeen, Texas, for the� repair of nine Barracks on Fort Hood, Texas..� Brand Name The barracks shall have Best/Dormakaba series BASIS G model Key Access Card Systems. The contractor will also ensure all of the necessary and updated versions of the software are installed by SAFLOK, Best/Dormakaba, or a Lenel Licensed software representative per the Standard Operating Procedure No. DPW-OMD-006 dated 1 August 2019. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to Ms. Darcel Glenn at darcel.g.glenn@usace.army.mil. The submission must be received no later 2:00 PM Central Time on October 06, 2022.�THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
