- Purpose:� The Army Contracting Command (ACC) New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ� 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Joint Program Manager Office Towed Artillery Systems (JPMO-TAS) to identify potential sources for optical fire control (OFC) in support of the M777A2 Lightweight 155mm Towed Howitzer. Description: This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes, as a means for the Government to conduct market research, identifying interested parties, and their capability to manufacture optical fire control (OFC) kits and spare parts in support of the M777A2 Lightweight 155mm Towed Howitzer. All interested vendors are requested to provide: � A summary of your firm�s knowledge, experience, and history of efforts requiring precision machining, gear cutting, and optics manufacturing (including prisms, lens, and other high precision optical components). � A summary of your firm�s capability and experience in high precision optomechanical systems requiring survival of extreme shock-load environments. � Production capability and lead times for historical optical fire control (OFC) or similar efforts. � Company Information - Company Name -�Company Address -�Company Point of Contact, Phone Number and Email -�Major Partners or Suppliers -�Is your firm considered a small business under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333314 � Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing? -�Location where primary work will be performed (if more than one location, please indicate the percentage for each location). Firms/companies are invited to indicate their capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration videos and/or other technical data, as well as identification of current customers.� This Market Survey is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY and should NOT be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the United States Government.� The Government recognizes that proprietary and/or classified data may be a part of this effort.� If so, clearly mark such restricted/proprietary and classified data and present them as an addendum to the nonrestricted/non-proprietary and unclassified information.� As a result of this Request for Information (RFI), a Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued.� Participation in this Request for Information (RFI) is completely voluntary by the vendor and as such all costs to develop the vendor�s response are to be borne by the participating vendor.� All interested sources are encouraged to submit their abilities/capabilities no later than TUESDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2022 1200 EST, to: Klaudia Grabias, ACC-NJ-IC Bldg. 10, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000; email: klaudia.a.grabias.civ@army.mil.
