Description
Hirsch Security System Prescott Arizona VA Medical Facilities Question and Answers: How many readers are to be installed in the future other than the 49 readers specified? 300 How many of those readers are to be installed in double exit doors? 0 How many of those readers are to be installed in double doors? 5 What type of locksets is there in your doors? Assa Abloy Related to FICAM Policy, does your agency need to authenticate the CAK besides the CHUID or FASCN from the PIV or CAC Card? No, PIV only Related to FICAM Policy, the fact the authentication of the PIV or CAC card can present major delay upon presenting the card to the readers, especially in areas such as the main entrances; what is the maximum allowable time expected to authenticate both CAK and CHUID?  Is it 3 seconds or less? Must be 3 seconds or less Related to FICAM Policy, does the contractor have to be certified as a HSPD-12 by GSA approved vendor? NO Related to FICAM Policy, does the contractor have to provide certified Security ICAM Engineers as recommended by GSA? No Since PACS Systems are now considered part of the IT infrastructure, does the proposed PACS System have to comply with FISMA, RMF and/or the Federal Energy Management Laws and Requirements? YES The solicitation appears to be a full replacement of all existing Hirsch controllers and readers. Is this correct? If so, would the government consider an alternate PACS manufacturer for a full system replacement? Yes, all readers and controllers are being replaced. The Velocity software will remain, Hirsch Velocity compatible controllers and readers will be required. Are all reader locations being replaced existing? No, there are new locations being added Are workstations and server s government or contractor provided? Government Provided servers and vendor provided workstations Does the existing system currently operate on the VA network or a standalone security network? Will the updated solution operate on the same network? Stand-alone network and will remain on a stand-alone network
