Description

This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Open Systems International, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, since the SCADA System including the master station software is proprietary.� The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform site maintenance/services and remote support services on the SCADA central and remote monitoring equipment and software. Procurement Method: Contracting by Negotiation. � The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811212 and the annual size standard is $30,000,000.00. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years.� The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months.� The Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, inquiries received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
