Description

This is Solicitation M00318-22-Q-0036 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action small business set aside is unrestricted. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Hydronalix Inc. for two each Emergency Integrated Lifesaving Lanyard (EMILY) HEPEMPK1000 robotic device used by emergency personnel to rescue swimmers when no lifeguards are on duty, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. Hydronalix Inc. is the sole manufacturer. The contract line item numbers and description are CLIN 0001 Quantity 2 each P/N HEPEMPK1000 EMILY. Award is expected 15 September 2022. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 15 September 2022 will be considered for future procurements by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
