- Description
- 70LGLY22QGLB00111 STUDENT LUNCHES This is a special notice to answer vendors question for solicitation 70LGLY22QGLB00111. 1) What are the days of delivery for the meals? - See (2) below. 2) Do you have the training schedule? It mentions it in the statement of work but I did not see anattachment for it. Here are the projected MLETP classes for FY23. Please note that, in addition to as many as 24 students, for the sit-down meals the Vendor would need to have sufficient seating for as many as 12 MTB staff members to sit down and order a meal as well. MLETP-2301 10/03/22 10/28/22 MLETP-2302 11/28/22 12/22/22 MLETP-2303 1/09/23 2/03/23 MLETP-2304 2/06/23 3/03/23 MLETP-2305 3/06/23 3/30/23 MLETP-2306 4/03/23 4/27/23 MLETP-2307 5/01/23 5/25/23 MLETP-2308 6/05/23 6/30/23 MLETP-2309 8/07/23 8/31/23 MLETP-2310 9/11/23 10/05/23 The MLETP training schedule varies depending upon whether there is a Federal holiday during the four-week class, with the class graduating on either Thursday or Friday of the 4th week. With regards to the Student Meals contract, there are a total of (8) off-site meals: (5) sit-down, and (3) box/bag lunches. They occur as follows: Training Day 6, sit-down lunch; Training Day 10, bag lunch; Training Day 11, sit-down dinner; Training Day 12, sit-down lunch; Training Day 13, sit-down lunch; Training Day 14, bag lunch; Training Day 17, bag lunch. All Training Days are M-F; MTB does not train on weekends or Federal holidays. MTB staff will provide menu selection sheets to the Vendor for all sit-down meals at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled meal time (usually 1130 or 1730). Bag lunches are the same for all students, so no paperwork is provided to the Vendor. 3) Hello, I have a question about the solicitation. Is there a timeframe when the meals areneeded? Every day for how many weeks? Is it 5 days a week or 7 days a week? Are theyneeded every day for the entire year? - See (2) above. 4) Are there any suitable substitutes for hard boiled egg? We can provide everything, but the egg. The bag lunch contents were identified based on a reasonable selection / variety of nutritious food that could be prepared in advance; sealed in a waterproof bag; and not spoil or degrade over a period of 4-6 hours while stored in a standard chest cooler on ice. Although the Statement of Work specifies Boiled Egg, a second piece of fruit (Apple, Orange, Tangerine, or Banana), or a small (~2 oz.) bag of peanuts would be an acceptable substitute. Note that this may require notification to the Vendor for any student that has a peanut-related allergy. This is the final submission of questions for this solicitation.
