- Description
- The proposed procurement does contain an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration shall not exceed 5 years (one three-year base period and two one-year options). This proposed procurement is for NSN 4730013990241, COUPLING HALF, QUICK DISCONNECT. Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items under FAR 13.5 are Applicable.� Solicitation SPE7MX22RX061 will be used to establish an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) approximately five years in length for one three-year base period with two one-year option periods. The Contracting Officer has determined this item will be solicited unrestricted with full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 and implemented by FAR 6.101. This item has an AMC/AMSC of 1/G, which means they are suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time, the Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. All responsible sources may submit an offer/proposal, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance. The estimated annual demand quantity is 1756. Required delivery is 80 days. Contract Maximum is $368,586.63. This item has technical data some or all of which is subject to export-control of either the International Traffic in Arms regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and cannot be exported without prior authorization from either the Department of State or the Department of Commerce. Export includes disclosure of technical data to foreign persons and nationals whether located in the United States or abroad. This requirement applies equally to foreign national employees and U.S. companies and their foreign subsidiaries. DFARS 252.225-7048 is applicable to this data. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) limits distribution of export-control�technical data to DLA contractors that have an approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification, have completed the�Introduction to Proper Handling of DOD Export-Controlled Technical Data�Training and the DLA Export-Controlled Technical Data Questionnaire�(both are available at the web address given below), and have been�approved by the DLA controlling authority to access the� export-controlled data.
