This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the procedures contained in FAR Part 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. The solicitation number is 12905B22Q0243 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). iii. Description/Statement of Work/Specification: United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area (PWA), Sustainable Agricultural Water Systems (SAWS) has a requirement for a trailer mounted diesel pump and sand media filter to support field studies involving pumping surface water from irrigation canals and passing this water through sand filters before delivering it to drywells.
