Description

The Department of Justice, Office of the Inspector General, Acquisitions, intends to issue a purchase order on a non-competitive basis to Gans & Pugh Associates, Inc. for Oculus NxtGen 4G/LTE cameras. This brand name, sole source action is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b)- soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The DOJ OIG requires the Oculus NxtGen 4G/LTE camera, which is the smallest covert 4G/LTE camera commercially available with a large internal storage (up to 256 GB) that will meet the OIG�s technical and operational needs. Oculus is solely developed by Covidence, which owns the propriety hardware, software and algorithms that are used in these products and support the services and devices, specifically required for this acquisition. Gans & Pugh is the only authorized reseller. This is not a request for quotes, proposals or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This Special Notice is being issued for informational purposes only. The Limited Source Justification & Approval for this action is provided.
