Description

Naval Supply Fleet Logistic Center San Diego hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Terabase Corporation. Naval Construction Group ONE, Port Hueneme, CA require a commercial database to perform technical research for cross referencing part numbers, National Stock Numbers (NSN), identify source of supply, unit of issue, substitute items, and allowances for Command Training Table of Allowance, Civil Engineer Support Equipment, and Non-Civil Engineer Equipment. Brief description of requirement: The contractor shall provide access for the Logistics Department to support 15 users to the LogiQuest � Part Logistics Research Database with Navy APL-AEL�s.� See attached Statement of Work. Period of Performance: The contractor shall provide service for a period of 12 months commencing 18 October 2022 through 17 October 2023, along with four (4) option periods. Place of Performance: 1991 Pacific Rd. BLDG 375 Port Hueneme CA, 93041 The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). Those capable of meeting the requirement are requested to provide the following information in their response:� 1) Current capability that demonstrates your company's ability to meet the above requirement, 2) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size, Cage Code and DUNS number.� The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM).� Register via the SAM website https://www.sam.gov, and be eligible to process invoices through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).� Register via the WAWF website https://wawf.eb.mil. The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached (See Note 22). This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 8 September 2022 12:00 PM PST via email to janet.nunez@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. � NOTE 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �
