SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Seeking Sources for Cargo Munition Platforms This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN): This announcement serves to survey product availability. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. This is not a formal solicitation. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this SSN. Description: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking information on available cargo munition platforms that can be used for a variety of developed, modular kinetic and non-kinetic payloads. This SSN solicits vendors' information that fully explains their existing cargo munition platforms. NSWC IHD plans to select a delivery vehicle for use in a TRL6 demonstration effort (FY25/FY26). Vendors should provide the following requested information: Munition Platform Title Name/model. Platform Picture(s) Photograph(s) of system, preferably something that gives a fair representation of the system size. Schematics with measurements, if available. Platform Specifications. This may be presented as a specification�s sheet, but should include at a minimum the following details: Launch details. Please confirm capable of surface/ground attack (no surface to air or air to air platforms). Size Exterior dimensions in inches. Payload diameter in inches. Payload length in inches. Weight Include the overall mass of the platform in pounds or grams. Include the payload mass in pounds or grams. Flight Details. Specify if the platform is guided. Specify if the platform has flight control. Specify if the platform is spin stabilized. Provide the applicable speed. Provide the range. Additional Details. Provide the detonation mechanism (fuze) specification and capabilities for current configurations. Provide the current cost per vehicle in US dollars ($). Specify if the platform is in production. If so, provide production numbers. If not, provide the last date produced and specify if capable to restart production line. Specify general sub-munition cargo capability. Specify if the platform has retired DPICM capability. Specify expulsion system details. U.S. military branches supported. Interface Specification: Provide Functional Interface Description. Specify interface type (data, signal, force, energy). Provide Physical Interface Description Specify interface specification. Specify interface description (e.g.: 7 pin circular connector, �-20 X 1� SST Socket Head Screw). Provide Static Margin Requirements: Provide Minimum Static Margin. Provide Maximum Static Margin. Special Features/Capabilities Summarize any special system features or capabilities not contained herein. Submissions: Interested entities are encouraged to respond by providing succinct responses to the items listed above. A spreadsheet can be used to organize the responses if desired. In addition, the submission shall include the organization�s name, postal address, point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, related webpage(s) URL, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. This SSN is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey.
