- Amendment No.: P00001 is for Solicitation No.: 140A2322Q0628 as follows: To respond to questions received: 1) Bathrooms are not included in scope, correct? Government Response: Correct, bathrooms and shower areas in residential wings are excluded, also bathrooms in isolation rooms and main entrance restrooms are excluded. 2) It was stated a site visit that successful contractor would receive 1 complete wing on 1 floor at a time. Please confirm. Government Response: Contractor will have on Section of a wing per floor. Such as A wing, 1st floor, north section. Possibility of entire 1st floor of the residential wing, but that will be determined if requested and coordinated through resident director and director of student services. 3) Is contractor responsible for moving/disconnect/reconnect of computers/electronics? Government Response: Moving/disconnecting/reconnecting electronics such as computer, monitors, towers etc shall be the responsibility of the SIPI IT and shall be coordinated as such. Furniture, cabinets, etc shall be moved, stored and reinstalled by the contractor 4) Will contractor be allowed to leave furniture in building, and just move around for flooring installation? Government Response: Yes, but items shall be protected from damage while flooring is replaced. 5) Do you have a specification for the desired LVT? Government Response: SIPI Standard commercial LVT is of the Mohawk Group Commercial LVT product line. Contractor shall submit a sample board and conduct a meeting with SIPI stakeholders to determine product size, type, color, location and layout of requested products within each building. 6) In contractor responsible for moving of washers/dryers/appliances? Government Response: Yes, contractor can move appliances within the space to complete work effort unless to be stored to complete which shall be the contractor responsibility. 7) Has existing Resilient Flooring been tested for asbestos? Government Response: Asbestos surveys completed in 2020 for B113 four winds lodge and B114 Golden Eagle Lodge will be provided. 8) Would you please include the list of site visit attendees with your reply? Government Response: see attach, S6 9) One vendor said I had floor plans? Can you send the floor plans to me? Government Response: see attachments (S1 to S5) All other terms and conditions to remain the same __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This solicitation is for a fixed price Construction project and is set aside for Small Business (SB). SOUTHWEST INDIAN POLYTECHNI INSTITUTE (SIPI) - CARPET REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS (SB). Contractors, please see the attached Request for Quote for the SIPI for the removal and installation of the carpet at the school. SITE Visit: Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time at SIPI in Albuquerque, NM. Garrick Harlon will be at the school on this day to conduct the site visit. Please contact Mr. Garrick Harlon to inform him you will be attending the site visit at Garrick.harlan@bie.edu. QUESTIONS: All questions to be received by Thursday, September 1, 2022, by COB. All questions must be emailed to Mary Jane Johnson before this date and time to maryjane.johnson@bie.edu. DUE DATE: Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. MD.
