Description
Notice of Availability � Request for Interest: �Vandenberg Space Force Base, California has a lease opportunity for a Government Building, approximately 10,063 square feet, for the occupation and use as a financial institution (bank or credit union). This notice is to solicit interest for a lease of a Government Building, approximately 10,063 square feet, for the occupation and use as a financial institution (bank or credit union). Summary of the outgrant terms and conditions: Lease period will be for a term of five (5) years. Cost of Property lease will be at a minimum equal to fair market value rent per year, if to a Credit Union the lease may be provided without rent charge if at least 95% of the membership of the credit union to be served by the facility is composed of persons who either are presently Federal employees or were Federal employees (includes military) at the time of their admission into the credit union, includes members of their families. To maintain the annual rent without charge the Credit Union must annually provide documentation of its 95% membership. Grantee must meet all conditions in the attached lease template (Attachment 1). Lease will be at no cost to the United States Air Force, or Federal Government. Grantee will be responsible for all administrative associated lease costs. Grantee will also be responsible for all costs associated with conducting a fair market value appraisal and preparation of an environmental baseline survey if required. The financial institution shall be required to obtain at its expense an authorization to operate as a financial institution on Vandenberg Space Force Base from the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Financial Management and Comptroller) pursuant to HAFMD1-12. The Government requests interested parties submit a statement of interest and current capability to meet the Vandenberg financial institution needs.� The Government will review information submitted in response to this RFI to determine interest and capability for a potential lease agreement for a financial institution on Vandenberg SFB, CA. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. Responses to this RFI are preferred via e-mail and should be received not Later than 4 PM Pacific Daylight Time on 15 Sep 2022.
