DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE AIR FORCE RESERVE COMMAND 914th CONF/PK, Niagara Falls, NY MEMORANDUM FOR ALL CONTRACTORS FROM: 914th MSG/PK�SUBJECT: Notice of Intent to Sole Source 1. The 914th MSG/PK, Niagara Falls, NY, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Data Security Inc., 300 S. 7th St., Lincoln, NE 68508-2401 for the SSMD-2mm Solid State Media Disintegrator. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B); only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. The 914th MSG/PK seeks to issue a sole source firm fixed price order to Data Security via GSA Schedule GS-02F-0015T for the purchase of the SSMD-2mm Solid State Media Disintegrator. This model is the only device that meets all essential characteristics (See Attached) to include NSA approval, 2mm particle size disintegration outputs. The device dimensions must have a footprint no greater than 27 inches x 42.5 inches with a height no taller than 48 inches to save on storage expenses. Data Security Inc., is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the SSMD-2mm Solid State Disintegrator with no other authorized resellers for this item. 2. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333999 and the Small Business size standard is 500 Employees. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The purchase of this requirement includes the following: CLIN 0001- SSMD-2mm Solid State Media Disintegrator, 230V� CLIN 0002- SSMD-2mm Solid State Media Disintegrator Level 3 Spare Parts Kit� CLIN 0003- SSMD-2mm Solid State Media Disintegrator Air Filter Set� CLIN 0004- SSMD-2mm Solid State Media Disintegrator Debris Bin Bags, Set of 50 CLIN 0005- CR-4KR Solid State Media Cracker, 120VCLIN 0006- Small Utility Cart 1834 3. Interested parties are required to provide equal parts meeting the above brand name requirements. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort.�A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a quote, which shall be considered. If no responses are received by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 09 September 2022, a Sole Source contract will be pursued with Data Security Inc. 4.
