Description

The Central Region HQ, National Weather Service (NWS) intends to award a sole source contract to FP2 FIRE, INC, 1140 Indian Peak Road, Golden, CO, 80403, Cage Code:6AMJ4, UEI: D31MJGZ4JJJ8 to provide Hydrogen Inflation Safety System (HISS) Preventative Maintenance and Support for a base plus four (4) option years for the NWS office located in Grand Junction, CO. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The statutory authority which permits sole source for this acquisition as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This authority is supported by an approved FAR Part 13 Single Source Justification. It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. The applicable NAICS code is 541350. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 8M.�The anticipated award date is September 1st, 2022. A Sources Sought NOTICE ID NW-WR9476-22-00274 was posted on 08/19/2022 with a response date of 08/25/2022. No responses were received. This is not a request for proposals or quotations only a notification of the governments intent to award to FP2 Fire, Inc. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government is based upon no response to the sources sought notice. The single source is solely within the discretion of the Government.
