This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE for VA NEW YORK HARBOR SECURITY UPGRADE - MANHATTAN, BROOKLYN, and ST.ALBANS CAMPUSES BRAND NAME ONLY PELCO Responses to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation must be in writing and submitted on the attached Request for Quotation (Form SF1449). 100% SDVOSB set-aside. NAICS Code: 334220; size standard: 1,250 employees; PSC: 6350 Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name  b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) SAM UEI (f) Cage Code  (g) Tax ID Number (h) and must  provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor and provide the commodities described within the Request For Quotation.   VA New York Harbor Healthcare System at Manhattan, Brooklyn, and St. Albans Campuses, Police Service, is seeking to upgrade the CCTV Security System with brand name Pelco equipment and installation. NYH Security Equipment Upgrade Brand Name Only - Pelco Objective: To provide an enhanced surveillance and security system throughout The VA New York Harbor Healthcare System facilities to include the Manhattan, Brooklyn and St. Albans campuses. We aim to upgrade our current Closed-Circuit Television system (CCTV) and incorporate Network Video Recorder Systems (NVR) to include the technologically advanced PELCO digital cameras. This new technology will increase our security, promote efficiency as well as prove to be ultimately more cost effective in reducing the number of surveillance cameras required to cover each campus entirely. Site visits are highly encouraged Section D Page 43 All offers must be submitted using the attached RFQ along with any other relevant information as per FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Section E - page 54. All questions are due no later than 15:00 on September 9. 2022. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). It is desirable that any Offeror to have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. Requests for information and resultant responses shall be submitted directly to the contracting officer, Paul Speedling at Paul.Speedling@va.gov.
