Description
On behalf of the U.S. AbilityOne Commission (Commission) the independent federal agency that administers the AbilityOne Program, (National Industries for the Blind (NIB) a designated central nonprofit agency, is pursuing potential partnerships with U.S. commercial manufacturers of� full range of Janitorial Floor and Surface Prep Pads for the purpose of providing employment for people who are blind or severely disabled.� If successful, the result will be the addition of the product(s) to the AbilityOne Procurement List (PL) under a co-brand agreement between the manufacturer and the AbilityOne Program, and its registered brands. The Janitorial Floor and Surface Prep Pads must meet and/or exceed FAR and other Federal Government published standards, Executive Orders and Federal Agency requirements.� At a minimum, the following criteria must be met:� PRODUCT Must contain a full range of Janitorial Floor Pads and uses; Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Ultra High Speed Polish Burnish 3000 Pad Floor Polishing Machine, Burnishing 3100 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Top Speed Burnishing3200 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, High Speed Polishing3300 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Standard Speed Burnish 3400 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Natural Blend High Speed Burnish 3500 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, High Speed Spray Buff and Surface Reviving 3600 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Standard Speed Polish 4100 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, High Speed Pre-Burnish 5000 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Standard Speed Spray Buff 5100 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Standard Speed Scrubbing 5300 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Surface Preparation Low Impact 7000 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Low to Medium Grit Stripper 7100 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Aggressive Grit Stripper 7200 Pad, Floor Polishing Machine, Ultra Super Aggressive Grit Stripper 7300 Each type of Janitorial Floor and Surface Prep Pad is designed for specific task and ultimate end results. Particular range of floor and surface prep pads allow for task usage from polishing to stripping and cleaning the floor surface. Range must encompass standard and high speed task, including polishing, scrubbing, stripping and or reviving older surfaces. Product must meet Federal regulatory compliance where required: EPA authorized chemical production facility FDA authorized production facility USDA Bio preferred certified products MANUFACTURER Must possess a nationally or industry known brand name that can demonstrate significant appeal through evidence of substantial sales. Demonstrate how it will assist the Commission�s designated nonprofit agency (NPA) to expand its line of Janitorial Floor and Surface Pads, thus increasing blind work hours, while keeping expansion costs to the NPA at a minimum.�� Willing to deliver bulk materials to the non-profit agency to assure the agency of on-time deliveries to federal government customer(s). Willing to enter into a multi-year agreement to include: On-going technical and production assistance. The necessary factory trained technical field support Enabling the non-profit agency to meet the criteria of the AbilityOne Program to convert material, label, assemble and package the products thereby creating employment for people who are blind or severely disabled. Demonstrate a commitment to working with the AbilityOne Program to market the product(s) solicited herein to Government customers. Preference is given to manufacturers who have a dedicated team for Federal Government sales and marketing. Be willing to work with the NPA, NIB, and AbilityOne to ensure that the price to the end-users is a fair and reasonable price. Please also see Notice CP-08-29-22-02 and CP-08-29-22-03.� Respondents must bid on all three (3) requirements. Manufacturers� submissions must demonstrate that proposed products meet the criteria listed above, as well as indicate what functions the nonprofit agency�s employees would perform.
