Description
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO4) intends to sole source a contract for services of Alarm System Hard Wire Panic Alarm System Upgrade at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon PA 17042. All work is to be completed in accordance with statement of work and schedule. This sole source contract will be solicited and negotiated with Siemens Industry Inc, 1000 Deerfield PKWY, Buffalo Grove, Illinois 60098-4547under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only One Source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561621. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is $22 million. No solicitation will be made available. This is not a request for quotations (RFQ). All information submitted for Contracting s review shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
