Description

SINGLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION Purpose of Announcment: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected sourcxe via single source procedures. This procurement is to lease a 4G data circuit/service to be used as the secondary circuit for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) Internet Services. The proposed action is a follow-on contract from previous contract number 6973GH-22-P-00003. AT&T currently provides the 4 gigabit data circuit that is required to support the data bandwidth necessary for the secondary internet access point at the Aeronautical Center.� Currently two fiber optic cables exist to provide internet service to the Aeronautical Center.� These lines are owned by 1) Cox Business Services, which leases the lin to OneNet, and by 2) AT&T. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal.� A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
