Description

This notice is not a solicitation. This announcement serves as a sources sought notice for the upcoming competitive acquisition for the United States Air Force Academy Athletic Jackets requirement.� The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) issues clothing and uniform items to cadets throughout their tenure at USAFA. The Athletic Jackets are part of the Cadet's clothing issue. These jackets must be made in accordance with the attached SPECIFICATION USAFA CU 370 (SPEC 370-170505-AJKT-COMBINED). The Buy American Act and Berry Amendment requirements will apply to this acquisition. The Government will make available to the contractor Government Furnished Material (GFM) and will provide the material to manufacture the outer shell for the athletic jackets; the contractor will be responsible for procuring all other materials to manufacture the athletic jackets.�� A first article will be required in accordance with FAR 52.209-4 Alt 1. Bar codes will be required for these athletic jackets in compliance with Code 39 or UPC Bar Code format. The government intends to solicit a firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a base period (of up to one year) and one option year. The estimated quantities�per year�for each item are: 0001 Athletic Jacket, Men�s 1750 EA 0002 Athletic Jacket, Women�s�750 EA 1001 Athletic Jacket, Men�s�1750 EA 1002 Athletic Jacket, Women�s�750 EA Delivery is FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840. Please indicate interest in this upcoming acquisition using the interested vendors listing associated with this notice.
