- DESCRIPTION INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE STATEMENT OF WORK Solicitation Number: 36C24522Q0888 ALL CONCERNS/ISSUES/QUESTIONS DUE BY AUGUST 24, 2022 BY 1:00 PM EST. GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR INNOVATIVE SPORTS TRAINING MOTION MONITOR SYSTEM Scope of Work: The Innovative Sports Training Motion Monitor System controls and synchronizes a motion detection system, force plates, an eye tracking system, and an electromyograph system that measure and record performance in human movement tasks. It provides real time data collection and analysis of human movement data. Dr. Barton uses the Motion Monitor System for gait and balance studies at the VA Annex building. He assesses balance in patients at a high risk for falls in order to develop new rehabilitative therapies. This contract will purchase a hardware and software upgrade to the existing system purchased in 2014. The Motion Monitor System has to be maintained to ensure accuracy of the data it collects and the longevity of such a costly piece of equipment. Innovative Sports Training will provide the required maintenance service and technical support to the equipment to ensure reliable operation for the life of the current funded studies. They will also provide software upgrades to the Motion Monitor s Acquisition, Visualization, & Biomechanical Analysis software (the basic software package). Task 1 - Enterprise Management Controls Deliverables: The investigator, Dr. Jay Barton, will ensure that Innovative Sports Training complies with the terms of the contract. Performance Period: 1 year from time of award plus 4 option years Type of Contract: Maintenance services Security Requirements: The vendor will be escorted at all times while in the Annex Laboratory. Vendor will not have access to patient records, data, or VA computer systems. There is no vulnerability. Place of Performance: Baltimore VA Medical Center 10 N. Greene St Baltimore, MD 21201
