Page 3 of 3 This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Camp Alliance Inc., located at 18952 Shoreline Way E, Fayetteville, AR 72703. Services will be from 09/15/2022 through 09/14/2023 with no option periods under NAICS 541611. The Vendor shall assist in integrating the Empowering Veteran Project (EVP) into community suicide prevention and resilience activities for service members, Veterans, and their families (SMVF), by linking EVP to the network of Camp Alliance Partners, including the Arkansas National Guard and the office of the Governor of Arkansas. The Camp Alliance Inc. and Empowering Veterans project (EVP) teams have been collaborating to link Federal, state, and community stakeholders involved in suicide prevention. This collaboration will be used to identify a plan to pool resources to improve service and support at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System at the Eugene Tobin Veterans Hospital. This action will result in a firm-fixed-price service contract. The period of performance shall be for twelve (12) months beginning 09/15/2022 to 09/14/2023 with no option periods. Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, applies, and Clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, does not apply. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; and is posted in accordance with FAR 6.305(b) posted within 30 days after contract award. This contract will be awarded by 09/01/2022. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted. The Government has awarded of a firm-fixed-price contract. REQUIRED SERVICES: SOW Attached
