� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �Sole Source Intent Notification - Synopsis The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) � Energy has a requirement for the services of the Government Owned Contractor-Operated GOCO retail fuel facility located at 2703 Wilderness Rd, Fort Carson, CO. The contractor is responsible to manage and operate an unmanned retail fuel facility for the normal and continuous use, operation, maintenance, and real time reporting of discrepancies applicable to all petroleum systems, components, facilities, buildings, and equipment listed and provided in this contract. Furthermore, the Contractor shall manage, coordinate, oversee, and report as needed to ensure all required inspections, services, maintenance, and repairs of all facilities, equipment, and real property associated with this contract. The contractor shall provide retail fuel dispensing services for petroleum product (JAA, MOGAS, DSL and E85). The Government intend to extend the current firm fixed price contract for a period of three-years beginning on October 1, 2022 through September 18, 2025. The period of performance is estimated to begin October 1, 2022. This announcement is posted as a notification of the Government�s intent to enter into a sole-source award under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.�� The intended source is Southern Terminal Services.� The Government was unable to identify any other source offering to manage and operate an unmanned retail fuel facility at the GOCO retail fuel facility at Wilderness Rd., Fort Carson, CO that meets the Government�s requirements. Other interested parties may submit a detailed capability statement to be considered by the Government no later than 9:00 A.M. EST, August 17, 2022. Only responses submitted via E-Mail to Ronald Mosley Ronald.Mosley@dla.mil and Keecha Elliott Keecha.Elliott@dla.mil will be considered. Questions concerning this requirement should be submitted by writing to the above e-mail addresses as well. This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Any capability statements received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This determination will be based upon the responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
