Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, intends to award a firm-fixed sole source contract to Bayer Healthcare LLC., (a large business) to maintain and service the MEDRAD Stellant D CT Injection System & Spectris Solaris EP MR Injection System located at Reynolds Army Community Hospital, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.� This sole source requirement is being awarded under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), where this requirement does not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT) and only Bayer Healthcare LLC., can fulfill this requirement due to proprietary license agreements with the equipment to be serviced.� The sole source contract will have a period of performance is 1 Oct 2022 � 30 Sept 2023 plus two option years. The NAICS code 811219, size standard is $22M. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements. Award will be on or about 30 August 2022. The solicitation number is W81K00-22-Q-0190, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 5 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government.
