Description
Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) Industry Day Announcement This is Amendment #2 to the synopsis entitled Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) Special Notice #1, which was last updated on May 5, 2022.� You are notified that the following changes are made: Information is hereby provided related to the upcoming LTV Industry Day.� To facilitate open communications with industry, NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) plans to conduct an Industry Day for the LTV acquisition.� The presentation for Industry Day will be held at the Destiny Ballroom of the Gilruth Conference Center and via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Central Time.� Directions to the Gilruth Conference Center may be found at the following website: https://www.nasa.gov/pdf/613625main_Directions-to-Gilruth-JSC_v2.pdf. A Question and Answer (Q&A) session will follow the Industry Day presentation.� Following the presentation and the Q&A session, please email any additional questions to Shyra Cullins at shyra.cullins@nasa.gov and Christina Wells at christina.a.wells@nasa.gov by 3:00 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, September 8, 2022. �The Government will officially respond to all questions by posting responses to sam.gov and the LTV website after Industry Day. The Government will also provide a tour of JSC facilities on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, which is planned to include the JSC Systems Engineering Simulator (SES) Video Wall, JSC Rockyard, and the Active Response Gravity Offload System (ARGOS).� Tours will have a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours and will be scheduled between 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time.� Participation is limited to six (6) individuals from each company/team. �Scheduling of tour times will be on a first come, first served basis.� � To facilitate interactive communications with industry, JSC personnel will also be available for One-on-One Meetings with individual companies in conjunction with Industry Day.� The One-on-One Meetings are intended to be question and answer sessions in which neither side will make a formal presentation. �One-on-One Meetings will be scheduled on�Thursday, September 1, 2022�between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Central Time and on�Friday, September 2, 2022 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Central Time. �One-on-one meetings will be conducted in the Discovery Conference Room of the Gilruth Conference Center and via Microsoft Teams and will not exceed 50 minutes. �Participation is limited to six (6) individuals from each company/team. �Scheduling of appointment times will be on a first come, first served basis.� The following topics may be discussed at the one-on-one meetings: The general purpose of the announced procurement; Any information about JSC and Artemis Programs that NASA has already made accessible to the public or is otherwise being made available to all potential offerors; The general nature or scope of requirements that will be addressed in the LTV procurement; Information that describes the federal procurement process as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), NASA FAR Supplement (NFS), or other published procurement policy documents; and Procurement specific information already published such as information contained in the acquisition forecast, Industry Day Charts, items posted in the Technical Library, and previously posted sources sought synopses. Questions regarding the subjects below�will not�be discussed: 1.����������� Proprietary or confidential business information of other business entities; 2.����������� Privacy Act protected information; 3.����������� Trade Secrets Act protected information; 4.����������� Speculation on what the Government might be looking for in proposals; 5.����������� Different technical and management approaches; 6.����������� Technical Efficiencies; and 7.����������� Any particular Government emphasis Please RSVP by�Wednesday, August 24, 2022, 4:00 PM�Central Time for the Industry Day, JSC Facility Tour, and One-on-One Meetings per the instructions below.� A confirmation email will be sent to acknowledge your reservation(s) and provide further instructions.� Please note that all attendees must be United States citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR).� No recordings of any kind are permitted of the Industry Day presentation, JSC Facility Tour, or One-on-One Meetings. Number of individuals planning to attend Industry Day, identified by name Number of individuals requesting to attend JSC Facility Tour, identified by name Indicate which of the individuals requesting to attend the JSC Facility Tour have or do NOT have a NASA badge. Note: Individuals without a NASA badge will be escorted onsite at JSC. Number of individuals requesting to attend One-on-One Meeting, identified by name Business Size, Socioeconomic Status, and CAGE Code JSC intends to post all companies who attended the Industry Day activities on the interested parties list.� If you do not wish to be included on the list, you must indicate that your company does not want to be included. The due date for responses to the LTV Sources Sought (SS)/Request for Information (RFI) Synopsis posted on August 30, 2021 is not extended. NASA anticipates releasing the Industry Day charts prior to Industry Day.� Please continue to monitor this sam.gov posting for updates on the release of any documents, as well as the LTV website at https://www.nasa.gov/jsc/procurement/ltv.� Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments.
