This is NOT a solicitation or request for quote (RFQ). This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP). This is NOT a job advertisement for hiring employees. The VA is seeking QUALIFIED VENDORS to provide a very brief response to this notice including only just what is asked for in this notice below. This is sources sought notice to industry and the only information is posted on Contract Opportunities web page at SAM.gov. Sources sought means seeking qualified vendors. The attachments included on the Contract Opportunities page do not include any additional information. If your company is interested please read this notice entirely and submit the required information, as requested herein. Preventative Maintenance for Powerex Medical Air Dryers Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, Oklahoma BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK (This is for information only) IMPORTANT NOTE: This Sources Sought is for market research purposes only (to determine the socioeconomic status of interested companies). No award will be made off this posting. VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking qualified vendors who have an interest and capability of performing preventative maintenance of Powerex medical air dryers at the VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, project management, and materials to do conduct the replacement. The six (6) Powerex medical air dryers and locations are listed below. BF118 Dryer A Powerex Model: PDM11002AJ Serial: 0109 BF118 Dryer B - Powerex Model: PDM11002AJ Serial: 0109 BF118 Area 1F & 2F Dryer A Powerex Model: PDM11003AJ BF118 Area 1F & 2F Dryer B Powerex Model: PDM11003AJ Sub-Basement Dryer A Powerex Model: PDPM100AJ Serial: 1032 Sub-Basement Dryer B Powerex Model: PMD55001AJ Serial: 0010 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS - PM all 6 medical air dryers per manufacture specifications. - Clean or Replace Auto Drain Valve. The auto drain valve is a float mechanism that automatically opens and drains the collected condensate. - Replace filter elements. Over time these filter elements will become clogged and should be replace at regular intervals. The differential pressure indicators on top of the filters will change from green to red when the pressure drop across the filter it too high which usually is a signal that the filter elements need to be replaced. - Check Purge Muffler for clogs, If the purge muffler is clogged then it will need to be replaced. - Replace Desiccant Towers and check valves at regular intervals. The Desiccant towers over time will degrade in the ability to absorb moisture from the compressed air. - Perform all preventative maintenance on the recommended schedule cited by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in order to maintain standard system integrity and operability. This is a non-personal services contract. The Contractor, its employees, agents, and subcontractors shall not be considered VA employees for any purpose of fulfilling the PWS and shall be considered employees of the Contractor. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, shipping, transportation, insurances, licenses, certifications, and supervision necessary to provide services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor is responsible for all charges and fees related to disposal of materials generated by the Contractor. This is anticipated to be a commercial service acquisition under the authority of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The work will be performed for the following locations: Oklahoma City VA Health Care System 921 NE 13th Street Oklahoma City, OK 73104 IMPORTANT NOTE: This RFI (Request for Information) is for information only. No award will be made from this RFI. QUALIFIED VENDOR: A qualified source has the a) necessary equipment, vehicles, personnel, resources and current operations as well as b) recent experience (within past 3 years) of performing services of a comparable size, scope and complexity, AND c) OEM certified technicians to perform services with unrestricted access to the facility during inclement weather, as well as immediate access to OEM software updates. A qualified source also has current and valid registration in System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov). A qualified source will also be able to comply with Limitations of Subcontracting pursuant to FAR 19.507. If interested, please provide the following: Provide company s capability statement describing ability to provide preventative maintenance services as outlined above Please state your company s business size in relation to above NAICS Code and provide your socio-economic category if applicable Please provide your UEI number If you have an FSS/GSA contract that includes this service Provide FSS/GSA contract number if applicable Indicate whether your company will self-perform services or state whether a third-party service provider will be utilized to provide the required services (note: Limitations on Subcontracting FAR 52.219-14, VAAR 852.219-74, 852.219-75, 852.219-77) If a subcontractor will be utilized, provide their company name, socioeconomic category, and UEI Only written responses, to items 1 through 7 above, will be accepted at this stage.
