- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded contract� N00024-22-C-2319 to Huntington Ingalls Industries � Ingalls Shipbuilding Division (HII) in support of the Guided Missile Destroyer (DDG(X)). This procurement will provide necessary shipbuilder engineering and design analysis in order to produce design products in support the DDG(X) Preliminary Design (PD) and upon approval Capability Development Document (CCD), Contract Design (CD). The Government will lead HII in the translation and documentation of the Government�s requirements to produce design engineering products. The contract is not fixed price. The uncertainties involved in contract performance do not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed-price contract.
