Point of Contact for this Sources Sought is: veronica.flores@va.gov (913) 946 - 1167 Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office -15 3450 S. 4th Street Trafficway Leavenworth, KS. 66048.  STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR ROBERT J DOLE VAMC VETERANS HEATH ADMINISTRATION WiFi Base + 4 Year 1. INTRODUCTION This solicitation is to provide the Veterans Health Administration, Wichita Station with a service agreement to maintain and repair WIFI high speed internet service, that covers patient and common areas. 2. BACKGROUND The Wichita VAMC currently uses a hosted campus WIFI solution. The infrastructure, equipment, and management are all components supported by the current contractor. The assets and services are not transferable, and access to these components is restricted to only the existing contractor service personnel. The VA does not own any of the solution, and thus cannot be handled by outside parties. If any other party wished to provide the same level of service, currently provided by the current contractor, it would require the removal and replacement of the VA s entire guest WIFI infrastructure. 3. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to provide maintenance and repairs of all existing equipment and the high-speed hard lines cable internet service in common areas of the Wichita VA Hospital. HOURS OF OPERATION Normal Operating Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am 4:30PM Off-Duty Hours: Friday through Monday, 4:30pm 8:00am; Monday through Thursday, 4:30pm through 8:00am. National Holidays: The 11 holidays observed by the Federal Government are: New Year s Day; Martin Luther King s Birthday Presidents Day; Memorial Day; Junteenth; Independence Day Labor Day Columbus Day Veterans Day Thanksgiving Christmas Day, and Any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a national holiday. Notification: Vendor must contact the Biomed Department to confirm scheduling of service. Vendors must report to Biomed or notify Biomed when they are on site. Notify Biomed when service is completed and must provide a service report of work done and parts installed. Biomed contacts see section 5. Service Quality: All services provided in this contract must meet manufacturers performance and technical specifications, Federal Regulation, and meet the requirements of The Joint Commission and Life Safety Code. The contractor shall document all maintenance and PMI actions and provide said documents to the Biomed Shop upon completion of each service action. Noncontract Charges: The contractor shall not perform any service that will result in additional charges without prior approval from the Contracting Officer, COR. 5.
