Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contractor shall conduct a heritage resource inventory within �Survey Needs� polygons for identified Project Area(s). The Contractor shall record all new prehistoric and historical resources located within the �Survey Needs� polygons within the project area. The contractor shall visit previously recorded sites and update existing site records. The survey shall provide site-specific data for the Forest Service to locate and identify cultural resources in the project area(s). The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform the work described herein. The contractor�s qualified archaeologist with at least five years crew lead experience, identified in the proposal, shall personally supervise all phases of the contract, including field investigations.
