Description
The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office-Europe is issuing this source sought synopsis on behalf of Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Lacy, WA. This is a Sources Sought Notification as a means of conducting market research for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. Any requests for a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored. The Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Lacy, WA has an upcoming requirement for reagents, FDA approved test kits, consumables, and maintenance services with training for the government owned Roche b221 analyzers. This request is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed- Priced contract. Salient characteristics required for blood gas reagents: 1. The Contractor shall provide blood gas reagents used in support of the mission at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining government owned Roche b221 automated blood gas analyzer systems (inclusive of instruments, ancillary equipment (computer, external drives, printer, UPS, sturdy wheeled table, etc.), maintenance, services, repairs, support, and parts as required to maintain the systems in optimal operating condition at no extra cost to the Government. 2. The Contractor shall maintain government owned blood gas analyzers. The contractor shall provide training, supplies, reagents, unscheduled maintenance, and preventive maintenance for the equipment. 3. All costs will be calculated on a cost per patient reportable or patient billable basis based on the number of patients listed for each test. 4. Individual analyzers must have the ability to perform a Blood Gas panel, Lactic Acid, COOX, and Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP). A BMP consist of glucose, sodium, potassium, chloride, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine, calculated osmolarity, and a calculated anion gap. 5. ANCILLARY MAINTENANCE. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing maintenance, services, repairs, and parts as required to maintain the systems in optimal operating condition, to include ancillary equipment (computer, printer, UPS, ETC.). 6. The Contractor shall provide on-site training for 8 technicians annually at no additional cost to the Government or individual trainee. 7. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325413 � In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide these contract supplies, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name/CAGE Code, address, POC email address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statement shall address the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED.� To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information.� Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide supplies consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
