Description

This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the Deputy Director for Infectious Diseases (DDID). DDID has a requirement for a Qiagen EZ2 connect MDx System FUL-1.� The Qiagen EZ2 connect MDx system FUL-1 is for end-to-end automation of nucleic acid extraction, from reagent setup to elution.� The period of performance is August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2023. The intended recipient of this purchase order is: Qiagen, LLC. located at 19300 Germantown Road, Germantown, Maryland. This order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received by July 25, 2022 by 11:00AM EST will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to Abbie Jemmott, Contracting Officer at ajemmott@cdc.gov no later than 11:00 AM EST July 25, 2022.� No telephonic quotes will be accepted.
