Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Huachuca Division is issuing this sources sought for information and planning purposes only. This notice is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or Bid. �This sources sought is a market research tool to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources that will be used for planning purposes and to determine if potential small business sources exist to support the requirement. �This information is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government. �Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. 1. �The ACC-APG is trying to determine qualified sources to perform the services within the attached PWS.� If you are a Motorola Authorized Service Provider, we want to hear from you. 2.� REQUIREMENT: The Network Enterprise Center (NEC) land mobile radio (LMR) shop requires a maintenance contract necessary for the maintenance of the Motorola 7.11. The systems include all LMR equipment, including but not limited to, generators, UPS, towers to include wiring and fixtures, infrastructure equipment, and third party equipment that was purchased and installed and covered under the original installation contract. This contract will also cover the replacement of tower lighting for 3 times during the contract year. The maintenance contract will provide access to Motorola Technical and Manufacturing Resources (Technical Support) for both the systems and subscriber radio systems (including software access for systems and radios). This Contract will not be for repair of any handheld or mobile radios. The subscribers to our system will cover that. Fort Irwin requires access to the software provided by Motorola to update and program radios and any system software. This contract includes covering the costs of any replacement parts and labor necessary in maintaining the LMR system sites. 3. The government is considering the use of a firm fixed price contract.� It is anticipated that the effort would be for one base year, extending 12 months from date of award plus two one-year option periods, if exercised.� The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAIC) codes for the acquisition is NAICS code 811213.� An alternate NAICS code may be suggested in your response. 4. �If your firm is capable of meeting the criteria stated in paragraph 2 as a Prime Contractor, has qualified personnel and relevant past performance experience, please submit the following in response to this RFI, as further detailed below. 5. Capability Statement: �The technical capability statement should include, at a minimum, the following information: (a) Company name and mailing address, including cage code (b) Point of contact (name, telephone number, and e-mail address) (c) Small business status (small disadvantaged business, woman-owned business, veteran-owned business, etc.) (d) As the Contractor, indicate the following: (1) Provide a brief summary describing your affiliation with Motorola as an Authorized Service Provider (2) Indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under for Government contracts; (3) Please provide suggestions you feel would maximize the effectiveness of the anticipated acquisition and resulting contract in providing quality services 6.� This RFI closes on 21 June 2022 at 9:00 AM (AZ Time/MST). Please submit any questions or comments in writing to both regan.alexander@us.army.mil and justin.b.rocha.civ@army.mil by 9:00 A.M.
